Don't worry, make the game you enjoy making and the market will follow, as long as you keep the game in line with your core ideas you're golden. As for your audience, it's me, I'm your audience, and I love good controlling rhythm games and I know there are lots of others. I believe you can make something you and in turn lots of people enjoy. :)

Nice, looking forward to it!

Ok, It's just tedious to get back to where I failed.

For having a corgi you already get 1000 bonus points from me. Fantastic adorable graphics, good sound, and good controls, though the gameplay is a bit tedious. Also the corgi is THICC.

Pleasant graphics, a great concept, juicy sound design, and It was very satisfying to destroy pirates.  I would've liked more enemy types and abilities, but with the time you had you made something very good.

I liked the concept, though the level was a bit small, cool that you made it in Scatch, think you made it in Scratch.

Nice graphic, and good use of the theme, though it was a tad hard to control and he kept getting stuck in holes and when I tried to save him he just fell in again.

I can't see my cursor or get the game to start. :[

Cute graphics, decent controls, and a good idea for a puzzle game with cool puzzles though some can be a bit tedious, I got soft-locked in level 3 when I put a guy in the hole before I released the other and had to start all over again.

Lots of simple mindless fun with smooth-as-chamomile-tea controls and charming graphics, I wish it would get more difficult and complex, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. I built a big unbreachable battalion of beautiful blobby boys.

I have killed so many... Very simple but fun, it feels like a game and watch game, though all abilities except for forgiveness are pretty useless.

AH! Spooky... Very nice use of the prowler's motif and spooked me good.

The art and music are sooo good and the gameplay loop is solid, though it would be nice if you could multitask with the boats after a while the boats clump together, Overall pretty solid.

Responsive controls. good graphics and well-thought-out level design, though the combat could use more complexity and juice, and being able to avoid getting hit like a dodge.

Hello neighbor! Reporting from Virginia and also making a game about local wildlife, I loved the sketchy art style, the lovely doggo, the sound design, the atmosphere, and the music, exploring the world, and I loved filling out my notebook. The only thing that I would critic is if you don't know what the descriptors mean such as monocot you're gonna get worse scores and there's nowhere in-game to learn about them. Overall I loved it and would play the heck out of a full release.

The music is nice and the controls are good, though I wish I could see the floor and the souls are dumber than single-celled organisms and kept dying off-screen. Overall good idea, and decent implementation.

I got 1930 points. Smooth controls(Especially throwing the lantern), a fun concept,  nice visuals, and a good core gameplay loop. I had the most fun going fast and throwing the lantern while moving, I like how the lantern pulls ghosts in more easily the more precisely you throw it, rewarding precision with speed, but I would like it if it got more complex the longer you played and if it rewarded speed, besides getting a higher score, as in removing the timer and helping speed, and other things you want to reward, let you play longer. Change a few things and this would be a fantastic arcade thriller. As it stands it's very fun even when it's this simple, keep it up!

Great idea and I love rhythm games! The music was good, the concept was good, and the chill mode was awesome, though the controls were very slippery so I couldn't save myself if I was going to hit a wall and the rhythm mechanics didn't seem that important on slower level going to the beat isn't a good idea because you'll go too fast and hit a wall and on fast levels, the controls are so punishing you you just spam and pray, adding one mechanic that can fix all the problems would make this game perfect for a full release, I loved the idea!

Fun puzzles, okay controls, good theme. I liked bouncing the character in the build mode.

The gameplay is fun though moving just one space at a time makes some houses impossible to reach and could use more polish, I loved the idea.

The music and visuals are cute and atmospheric, the atmosphere is very cozy, and I love my Meeps (Though I think Jumbo glitched out and ceased to exist), though the gameplay is lacking. I wish I could get more Meeps and start a Meep camp. Very cute and cozy, one the best I've played, RIP Jumbo.

Very cute bird, I love how the bird gets closer the more you play, smooth controls, cozy warm-hug visuals, good progression, and I would kiss adaptive music, so I love the music in this game. My only gripe is that bird can be as dumb as half a bag of loose change. Overall all a cozy evanescent experience.

10/10 has an axolotl in it.  In all seriousness the art is charming and the progression is nice, though the controls and combat were lacking. Overall quite fun and very cute!

Very nice play on the theme, the graphics are fun and distinct, the more kids there are the more is was laughing and the ending was fantastic,  good on you for sticking to simplicity, though kids are slow and hard to control and I felt like getting points wasn't very skill-based, I still think it's one of the best I've played so far, and I played 37 so far. My score eas 690!

Overall good concept and take on the theme, it runs smoothly, and I love games about goblins, but the controls were hard or didn't work,  and it was kinda hard to learn at first, and the level design had too much fluff and not enough substance

I like the visuals(especially the UI) and take on the theme, though collision is weird and it's hard to tell where you are and where to go.
